For the first few days we got into the routine of feeding all the animals, including butchering the massive chunks of meat for the cheetahs. For our first activity, we flew in microlight planes, and got a birds’ eye view of lions, buffalo, wildebeest and giraffe.
The first week in April has was a busy one for all at HESC. Everything from new births, to moving lions, kept us occupied for the first few days of the month.

Saturday the 31st of March saw the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre going all out – not only did we educate people on the importance of saving and protecting endangered animals, but also on the importance of sustainable living.
